• SUMMARY

I moved to San Antonio, TX from Lawton, OK. I studied Health Education at Trident University and a Nationally Certified Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Victim Advocate. I served as, a Senior Noncommissioned Officer in the U.S. Army the last position as an Instructor/Health Educator to students serving in the Army, Air Force, and Navy as Surgical Technologists.

I am… the President and Co-Founder of Crown Jewels and so grateful for the passion my son Christopher showed for teen females needing guidance, which fostered a desire to impact female youth in the community I served. I laid the foundation for Crown Jewels in 2011.

D-SAACP (Department of Defense Sexual Assault Advocate)

The Department of Defense (DoD) is committed to providing a high quality response to sexual assault survivors. The DoD Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program (D-SAACP) was established to standardize sexual assault response to victims and professionalize victim advocacy roles of Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARC) and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Victim Advocates (VA). Information about D-SAACP goals, outcomes, structure, and benefits of the certification process can be found in the program overview. Additionally, the DoD Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program Directive Type Memo (DTM) 14-001 establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for the oversight, management, and implementation of the D-SAACP.
